For example, if you share your serial number and someone uses it to file a false warranty repair on a device, you may suddenly find yourself with a phone that is out of warranty. However, there are certain situations where sharing a serial number can cause you grief down the road. You should find a VIN number there if you couldn’t find it on. You’ll probably need to gently pull away any mobile home materials obstructing your view. If you still can’t find it, try the other end of your mobile home. Your VIN will be at least 3/8 inches in height. Since it’s usually printed on the outside of the box, you can infer it’s not terribly important that it stays completely private. Standing before the frame, scan the metal beam for a string of numbers. Your serial number is generally used by the manufacturer to track device inventory-mainly for things like repairs and warranty claims. What is the Serial Number Used For and Should It Stay Private? If you don’t see your device’s serial number here, you may need to poke around in the About Phone section a bit more-it may be in a slightly different place depending on the manufacturer. Twenty-five years ago I picked up a 4 x 5 view camera, people in the news biz might not have quite understood what I was doing, some thought I was completely nuts, I still could be. Shooting film on my time off is a whole different kettle of fish, for one I have no deadlines to contend with, so it doesn't matter to me that I can see the shot right away, I feel as an artist ( which I humbly realize may not be true ) I want to slow things down. Digital is a must in photojournalism, I wouldn't want to be with out it. I would never want to go back to film for my day to day work assignments at the paper. Today its all digital and I must say that I love shooting digital for my newspaper work, in November of 2001 my newspaper, The Kelowna Daily Couruier bought the newest of new, Nikon D1H digital cameras, I can still clearly remember walking along Bernard avenue in downtown Kelowna the day our 'kits' arrived and shot anything and everything that moved, I would look at each picture on the camera's tiny little rear screen and say wow! I have been working at newspapers as a photographer since I was 18 years of age, I started out shooting black and white film in my Nikon F2 camera. I have been shooting film since I was 15 years of age, I'm closing in on 40 years of film usage and I still feel that film has value in today's digital world. Thank you for your nice words about my work. Those are crazy assumptions made by people that have no clue what photography is about.īTW trying to study 150+ years of 'film-wisdom' (vs about 8 of 'digi-wisdom') can be a daunting task indeed. Or even letting the viewer believe that the artist is better than him, because he/she uses film. It's not because I use film that my work becomes better. I've been called an elitist before, for using film.īut I believe that the medium an artist desires to use should never influence the viewer's opinion about the artist's art. Now what medium I desire to use is completely secondary. That is something – I believe – I can do with my B&W work. That – for me – is one of the defining factors of what makes exceptional art, exceptional and good art, well just that, good. I like art that shows me the artist's personality. The moment you run procmon, it begins capturing many different kinds of Windows events. You’ll then see a folder like any ol’ network share containing all of the Sysinternals files including procmon. To do this, open up File Explorer and paste in \\ \tools. If you’d rather not (or can’t) download an EXE, you can also use the Sysinternals Live folder. There is a way around this which will be touched on later in this Guide. Procmon only runs with elevated permissions so you’ll be prompted to accept this if you have UAC enabled when you run it. Now run procmon by invoking the ~\ProcessMonitor\procmon.exe file.

This is especially apparent during battles, where the background will either be plain white or black. The only critique I do have with his art is that Mashima does sacrifice detail in the background. The battles are rather easy to follow, however, there are some instances where things tend to get a bit cluttered. While not as refined in the early chapters, Mashima designs his character rather attractively, the men with defined muscles and distinct faces the women with heavenly chests and attractively looking figures. Readers familiar with and fans of the art in Fairy Tail will easily come to love the art Mashima utilizes in Rave because its the same exact style. Fortunately, there are a few plot twists that occur deep in the story which some readers will be surprised to learn about, and it are those saving graces which help keep the reader entertained. Groove Adventure Rave has all these shounen plot elements and in today's standards, the story starts to get pretty predictable as to what will occur. The sudden power ups, the talk about dreams overpowering thirst for power, friendship overcoming critical death status, so on and so forth. This fateful meeting will eventually trigger events that become the foundation that eventually shakes the world.įrom this synopsis, any reader familiar with shounen stories can get a sense of what kind of adventures, pitfalls, powers, themes, etc., Haru and Elie will encounter in their journey, and without fail, Mashima utilizes all of them. Early on in his journey, Haru meets a young girl, Elie, who has amnesia and is seeking the truth about her past. And thus Haru, becomes the 2nd Rave Master. The old man, in poor health, eventually passes on his title and sword to Haru, entrusting him to find the Rave Stones to stop Demon Card. One day, an old man happens to pass through the Island and Haru eventually learns the identity of this old man is none other than the Rave Master, a hero that is destined to save the world from the atrocious organization, Demon Card, who plan on ruling the world. Haru Glory, Rave's shounen hero, is a young teenager living away from civilization with his sister on Garage Island. However, despite obvious plot twists and predictable characters, it still does not take away on what turns out to be a highly enjoyable read about a teenager's coming of age journey to save the world. is a story that is unbelievably shounen, through and through. The anime adaptation of Groove Adventure Rave, named Rave Master, suffered considerably because of character designs that were not consistent with the manga counterpart, and because the anime adaptation covered only the first 90 chapters or so, leaving many unanswered questions and open plot holes. However, its clearly easy to see where Fairy Tail's roots come from when one decides to undertake his previous, massive shounen story, Groove Adventure Rave. When people hear the name Hiro Mashima today, they instantly think of his most recent work, Fairy Tail, which is steadily growing in popularity since its debut in 2006.
